Week 6 Outside of class

This weekend I was finally able to perfect having my words written in. So the hardest thing that I had to figure out was how to get the script font write in correctly now this was had for many reasons the main one being I didn't have access to the original font used, so I would now have to have it draw in solely off of the logo. I tried many things to achieve this.

The first thing I tried was rewriting the font with the paintbrush since that creates strokes. Now the main reason I knew I had to have a stroke was due to the example in in class that stuck in my head. so when I used the paint brush, I was also manipulating the points to get them as close as possible. Now, this was extremely hard and just looked lumpy.
After that failed I was trying to think of how I could get the image traced the image to work so I looked to the internet for logos reveling. Now, this was not a simple search since most of the logos were combined with shapes and not a script font. Eventually, I found a video that showed exactly what I wanted.

After watching the video I was able to apply the same principles to my Illustrator files. The biggest issue I ran into was having overlapping elements and not having them run into each other and be revealed prematurely. The solution to this problem was making them on the same illustrator file, then deleting one half and saving and vice versa. I did it that way to ensure that they would still line up correctly.
